Why did we opt for Windows PE?

As a Microsoft Partner and now long-term Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, we have worked with Microsoft Technology since the very beginning. Licensing Windows PE has made it possible to develop compatible applications. We rely on the base technology used in Microsoft operating systems, which allows us to offer specifically tailored applications and tools, and improves your experience. It also makes our products even easier to use directly from CD. The Start CD facilitates the access to applications through Windows PE. By using Windows PE as a base, a wide selection of drivers for integrated hardware becomes available, guaranteeing maximum compatibility. At the same time, the drivers already present will be identified, in addition to further tools that can then also be started without a problem.

O&O Software works exclusively with licensed technology, intentionally not working Linux-based, and using no Public Licenses. This prevents any licensing infringements when using O&O products. With O&O Software, you are always safe in the knowledge that all licensing formalities have been taken care of and are totally permissible – protecting the legal security of our customers.
