O&O BlueCon 7 is available in two different versions: Personal, Admin and Tech Edition. These two versions differ in functionality and licensing.

The Admin Edition (AE) contains the entire data recovery portfolio from O&O: O&O DiskRecovery 4, O&O FormatRecovery 4 and O&O UnErase 4. The AE license is person-bound, i.e. it is licensed per administrator. It may not be used on non-company computers or to provide a service. The AE is ideal for all companies who wish to recover data from their own computers.

The Tech Edition (TE) contains the entire data recovery portfolio from O&O: O&O DiskRecovery 4, O&O FormatRecovery 4, O&O UnErase 4 and O&O DiskImage 3, and as an extension to the AE, O&O BlueCon may also be used on non-company computers. This license permits the use of the product in providing a data recovery service. It is licensed per Technician, i.e. it allows a Technician to work on any number of different computers. The TE is ideal for all companies who offer their customers a data recovery service.
