Free Screen Saver Add-on for O&O Defrag V8.0 Released

With the brand-new "O&O Defrag ScreenSaver" add-on, O&O has created the
first ever screen saver that actively controls the defragmentation of a
computer, displaying real-time 3D graphics that charts O&O Defrag's progress,
cluster by cluster. All users of O&O Defrag V8 may install and use this screen
saver add-on.
Berlin, November 9, 2005 - As a free add-on, the Berlin-based software vendor,
O&O Software, is offering the new O&O Defrag ScreenSaver to all users of O&O
Defrag. The O&O Defrag ScreenSaver gives users the ability to run a
defragmentation of their system partitions in Screen Saver Mode and track its
progress through beautifully-crafted graphics.
Incorporating the powerful O&O Defrag engine to automatically optimize hard
disks, this add-on dramatically decreases the need for user interaction in the
defragmentation process with its autonomous operation in the background.
By harnessing OpenGL technology, the O&O Defrag ScreenSaver generates live 3D
representations of a partition's clusters; unprecedented on the system
optimization market today.
 Like other screen savers in Windows, the O&O Defrag ScreenSaver can easily be
configured to meet a user's needs. Among other options, users can not only
individually define the drives they would like to have defragmented, but also
stipulate the method by which those drives are to be optimized. Whenever the
screen saver is interrupted, the current defragmentation is halted, remembering
its last position. As soon as the screen saver is activated again, O&O Defrag
will continue exactly where it left off.
The O&O Defrag ScreenSaver add-on is compatible with all version of Windows
XP/2003/2000/NT on Workstations and Servers. The free add-on is free of charge
for registered users of O&O Defrag V8 Professional and Server Edition.
