Berlin, 17. July 2007 - With the O&O RescueBox 4.1, Berlin-based O&O Software has released the bundle for professional data rescue under Windows Vista. It contains three data rescue products that compliment each other, providing maximum opportunities to recover lost data. The O&O RescueBox underlines the Berlin Company’s leadership in the data rescue field.
The O&O RescueBox Recovery CD is a bootable CD based on Windows PE. The three products O&O UnErase 4.1, O&O FormatRecovery 4.1 and O&O DiskRecovery 4.1 can be started directly from the CD. Also included is the O&O-Recovery Assistant which helps the user interactively select the most appropriate product for the data rescue to hand. Users with no prior experience can also use the programs with no difficulty as all products boast an intuitive user interface.
O&O UnErase 4.1 rescues deleted files from intact file systems. If files are deleted from the hard disk, O&O UnErase quickly helps to fully recover them. Usage is just as easy as with Windows Explorer.
O&O FormatRecovery 4.1 helps with formatted hard disks. If the hard disk was formatted in error or the directory structure is damaged through virus, the data can be reconstructed. An Assistant helps with the recovery, leading users step-by-step through the recovery process.
O&O DiskRecovery 4.1 enables the reconstruction of data whose directory and file information have been deleted or overwritten. Thanks to the one-of-a-kind O&O DeepScan, over 400 different file types and versions can be recognized at sector level and recovered, even where the file system is badly damaged.

A Tech Edition is available for service providers at EUR 689,- /GBP 413.40 (excluding 19% VAT) and USD 826.80.
