How to order

To benefit from the advantageous EDU license conditions you have to give O&O Software justifiable proof before or with your order that you and/or your institution belongs to one of the groups specified above. In addition to this, you have to make sure that the acquired EDU licenses will only be used by yourself or within the stated educational institution. Usually, an order for O&O software supplied with EDU licenses printed on the educational institution's official headed paper is accepted by O&O Software. Alternatively you can use a valid ID, showing that you are a member of one of the specified institutions shown above. If you purchase our products from one of our authorized resellers, please make sure you declare that you want to order EDU licenses.

Attention: A subsequent refund of the difference in price between the normal license price and the EDU license price is not possible once the license has already been acquired.

Validity of EDU licenses

The software supplied with an EDU license is identical to a normally licensed version of the specific O&O software product. EDU licenses fully include rights to update and upgrade the products and O&O Software offers special EDU update prices for its products. Updating from or to EDU licenses to or from normal licenses is possible.

If you are a student and finish your academic career, your EDU licenses will be converted into normal licenses, inheriting all licensing conditions of a normal license. The former EDU license may then be used under the conditions of the normal license agreement. Giving notice to O&O is not required.
