O&O SafeErase V2.0Excerpt from the product test:* "O&O SafeErase 2.0 makes it almost impossible to restore deleted data with the aid of specialized software. SafeErase 2.0 is accessible through the context menu and can therefore be used with a range of programs. Settings for deletion are limited to five different security levels depending on the level of security required. The advantage of the first level is the speed of the deletion process, as data are written over only once by random data. At the highest security level all data are overwritten 35 different times, each time using a different random combination of data. This is also available when moving files from one directory to another. Simply by selecting "Securely delete" from the context menu, one can activate SafeErase 2.0. The deletion process is followed by a report of the actions completed. In addition, SafeErase 2.0 gives users the ability to securely deleted an entire system."
