Berlin, December 12, 2006 - The Federal President Horst Köhler visited the Borsigturm Business Park and the offices of O&O Software during a recent visit to the Berlin district of Reinickendorf.

The Federal President, together with his wife and the Mayoress of Berlin Reinickendorf, Mrs.Marlies Wanjura, took time out to chat with employees of O&O Software GmbH about the manufacture of its software products and how they are marketed worldwide.

In a subsequent round of talks with Michael Ganß, Director of O&O Services GmbH, Olaf Kehrer, Director of O&O Software GmbH, and Gerrit Schulte, Director of acticom GmbH, the Federal President was given an insight into the innovation, visions and ideas of a company operating in the IT sector.

Of particular interest to Federal President Horst Köhler was how a software company from Berlin could also become so successful worldwide, and in what way current economic policy in Germany could have a positive influence on the sector as a whole.

Mr.Kehrer expresses his gratitude on behalf of all those taking part for the interest shown by the Federal President in the O&O Group of companies, and he is delighted that the company has once again aroused the interest of the District Mayoress, Mrs.Wanjura.
