What is WinRE?
The Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) is a recovery environment provided by Microsoft that runs outside of the regular Windows operating system. It includes basic troubleshooting and system repair tools, such as Startup Repair, Load Restore Points, Restore System Images, and Command Prompt for Manual Repairs.
