The new O&O BlueCon 19 supports Microsoft Windows 11 which means all its features can now be used on any computer running under Windows 11.
The multiple award-winning O&O SafeErase is just one of the product’s many components and it can be used for permanently deleting data and disks.

Start directly from the Windows Recovery Environment in the cloud

O&O BlueCon can be integrated into the Windows startup process, allowing it to also be started from the Windows Recovery Environment. All its integrated drives can be used as well, making O&O BlueCon the complete toolbox for emergencies, ready for use at any time!

O&O BlueCon can also be used in a virtual machine environment so that a Windows system located somewhere in the cloud can be easily booted and accessed completely.

This allows access not only to the Windows system, but to all its data as well.
The current version supports Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8.1 as well as Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016, 2012 R2 and 2012. All integrated programs can be started directly from a USB stick or from a network environment via PXE boot.

Windows Deployment Services compatibility (PXE boot server)

A bootable PXE boot medium can be created directly using the integrated assistant (BuildPE). It can be used via network to start clients in a Microsoft network environment without any need for a DVD/USB stick. Thanks to the PXE boot medium created with O&O BlueCon, a computer can be started remotely across a network without the use of any local media (hard disk, CD, DVD, USB stick.

In this way a medium created with O&O BlueCon can be saved on a server and used on remote computers whenever needed, without this medium having to be used locally on the computer itself. The PXE server needed to do this (Windows Deployment Services) is available in a Microsoft domain or can be installed at a later time.

BitLocker

With O&O BlueCon, BitLocker drives can be unlocked and their encrypted data accessed. After entering the BitLocker password, encrypted drives can be accessed via the booted O&O BlueCon environment.

Support for Hyper-V

Extended support for Hyper-V means O&O BlueCon can also be run on host systems. This gives users in an otherwise minimally equipped system environment a complete set of applications for locating and resolving problems.
The time factor for recovering a system is even more crucial with virtual machines because failure on a host system could result in not just a single server, but a whole series of virtual systems being affected.

Remove updates installed by Windows: O&O UpdateRemover

With the O&O UpdateRemover all the removable Windows updates installed on a computer can be displayed in detail and uninstalled directly. The O&O UpdateRemover can even be used when the Windows recovery environment can no longer be started.

O&O DiskImage makes it easy to create images of drives or file backups. In the Plus Edition, O&O BlueCon includes a license for rolling out images across an administrator’s own company or across a customer’s network using the service technician license.
This enables ready-made reference systems to be installed on new machines with just a few clicks. The license also includes the “Machine Independent Restoration (M.I.R)” component from O&O DiskImage. O&O PartitionManager, can be used to create, delete, enlarge, and shrink partitions. It can change the size of system partitions so that files can be stored specifically to save space.

Various Editions

O&O BlueCon is available in two editions: Admin Edition and Tech Edition. Each Edition is also available as a “Plus-Edition” containing the O&O DiskImage data backup solution.
The Admin Edition is licensed in the name of a person, i.e. it is licensed per administrator and can be used on all computers within the company. The Admin Edition Plus also contains O&O DiskImage for backing up and restoring data.
The Tech Edition allows the user to provide a data recovery service to clients. It is licensed per technician, i.e. it allows a technician to work on any number of different computers. The Tech Edition Plus also contains O&O DiskImage for backing up and restoring data.
