O&O Software presents the latest version 20 of O&O BlueCon, an extensive collection of powerful tools to restore damaged Windows systems. From the deactivation of incorrect drivers to the restoration of deleted data, this product offers all the options that an administrator or IT service provider needs.
The most important innovation in O&O BlueCon 20 is the integration of O&O Check & Repair, a tool to search for why a system no longer starts. In the first step “Check”, the system files and components are checked for missing or damaged files and/or registration key. “Repair” then tries to automatically correct these errors. If this step is not successful, the current version 20 of O&O BlueCon offers further information, including the log files.
The creation of the bootable rescue medium was completely revised in O&O BlueCon 20 and simplified again. With just a few clicks, the start medium is created and ready for use. New is the integration into a separate rescue environment, so that the primary recovery environment can continue to exist without changes. Any integrated drivers can also be utilized.
The current version supports Windows 11, Windows 10, and Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016 and all integrated programs start directly from USB stick or from a network environment via PXE boot. O&O BlueCon can be started directly from the Windows boot menu or directly from the USB stick or CD without prior installation.
A further highlight in O&O BlueCon is the integrated O&O DriverLoader, which automatically discovers all system components and loads the corresponding drivers. If a driver for special hardware is not available, the user can integrate it into the current system with just a few mouse clicks so that it receives full access to this device.
O&O BlueCon is available in two editions: Admin Edition and Tech Edition. Both are also available as a “Plus Edition” with the Backup and Recovery solution O&O DiskImage. The Admin Edition is person-bound and can be used on all computers within a company. The Admin Edition Plus contains O&O DiskImage to backup and restore data. The Tech Edition allows use in the context of services provided within a company or externally. It is licensed per Technician and can be used to repair any number of computers. The Tech Edition Plus contains O&O DiskImage to backup and restore data.
Pricing and availability
Product upgrades are available without additional charges for all O&O Business Suite and Maintenance Agreement customers. The O&O BlueCon 20 Admin Edition costs 1090 USD, the Admin Edition Plus with the O&O DiskImage license for imaging and cloning costs 1790 USD. The license for IT Service Providers (O&O BlueCon 20 Tech Edition Plus) costs 5990 USD. All prices include 19% VAT where applicable.
