O&O Software, a leading manufacturer of high-performance system software for Windows, is releasing O&O BlueCon 24, the latest version of its professional system recovery solution for IT administrators and service technicians. For the first time, the new version features a new recovery environment that updates automatically via the internet. This ensures that all current system and manufacturer components are always available for future recovery operations and do not require updates.

At the same time, the licensing model has been revised and simplified. With the new editions, O&O BlueCon can now be licensed specifically according to user and deployment scenario – from private use to global enterprise deployment.

The new version fully supports the latest changes and updates of Windows 11 25H2 and continues to support all previous Windows versions back to Windows NT 4. Server editions and virtual machines are also supported in the Technician and Enterprise editions.

Optimized Recovery with the Latest Rescue Environment

A key technical highlight of O&O BlueCon 24 is the bootable media. This ensures significantly faster boot times for the rescue environment and smoother diagnostic and recovery processes. Especially in time-critical emergencies, this enables more efficient troubleshooting and considerably reduces downtime.

The O&O BlueCon environment is automatically updated with the latest version. The latest Microsoft rescue image is always used when creating the bootable media. This ensures that O&O BlueCon functions reliably even if the existing Windows recovery environment is faulty or damaged.

  • The Site Edition allows O&O BlueCon to be deployed across a single location within a company, while the Enterprise Edition enables company-wide deployment across all locations worldwide.

Integrated Backup and Deployment Features
O&O DiskImage is integrated into O&O BlueCon 24 starting with the Corporate Edition for local use. Furthermore, the Technician, Site, and Enterprise Editions allow you to distribute master images using our backup and recovery solution, O&O DiskImage, to customers or within your own company, making these licenses particularly efficient and cost-effective for deploying new PC and server systems.
